Your avatar is a small image displayed under your name when you make a post on the forums.
To set your avatar, go into your profile. Here, under the Nav-Links at the top of the board, you will see the links to edit different sections of your profile.
Click on the avatar link, and load an image from your computer or a URL for your avatar.
