| There is talk going around that the drinking age (in the US) is going to be lowered from 21 to 18.
Me personally, I am 17 right now, and I am kinda pissed that next year I will be able to join the military, fight, and possibly die for my country, but I won't be able to crack open a beer and relax once I get home.
Not to say that everyone would handle this in a mature manner, but for the most part, minors are going to drink even if it is illegal.

| Drinking at such an age can cause alot of problems in the human brain thus not allowing you to remember things when you get older and your brain is fully formed at the age's 21-25 if you start drinking at 18 it will stop the brains flow of growing and this will cause many long term effects to your body, mind and weight.
Correct me if am incorrect.

| What? What does that mean? Drinking should be illegal for people up to 17. Enough said. | |

State why you think so? Because I cant see why it should be at the age of 18. I truly think that 21 is the right age to drink. I will support my reasons after I see you do the same Ryan. ^^ There is never enough said.

| OK, i give up. You win. The age will stay. You happy about crushing dreams? Its not about wining its about whats right but as a person you can drink at a lower age which would been breaking the law it depends on the person I know alot of 16-19 year old kids that drink. | |

| i dont really have an opinion on the subject, as im only 13, but i think it should stay, just because it's been at 21 for a while, and i dont see the point in changing it.
i guess i understand both sides, though...

| Here in the UK, it's supposed to go from 18 up to 21. It will affect me, but I'll still be able to drink every weekend. | |

| i think that if the drinking age had been lower in the first place, people wouldn't abuse the privelage, and would be a lot more mature about it. but, that would be a problem due to the physical hazards of drinking as a teen. | |
